Terms & Conditions
Last updated: October 23, 2026
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the We family app and the wefamilyapp.com website (together, "the Service"), operated by TZ Develop Team, Israel ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If a translated version of these Terms conflicts with the English version, the English version prevails.
1. Eligibility
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If the law where you live sets a higher age for using online services on your own (up to 16 in some EU countries), you need a parent or guardian's permission until you reach it.
- Relatives who don't have a phone of their own — young children, elderly relatives, deceased relatives and pets — can be represented through managed (linked) profiles created by an account holder — see section 4. A living relative can later take such a profile over as their own account.
- You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
2. The Service
We is a private family space: a family tree, shared feed, stories, chats, tasks and reminders, visible to the members of your family as described in the Privacy Policy. The Service is provided free of charge and contains no purchases, subscriptions or in-app payments. We may add, change or remove features as the Service evolves.
3. Your content
- Content you share (messages, photos, videos, voice messages, posts, stories, events, polls, tasks) remains yours.
- You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, transmit, display and process your content solely to operate and provide the Service — including generating transcripts of voice messages, delivering notifications, storing your conversations with the assistant, and the AI features described in the Privacy Policy. This license ends when the content or your account is deleted, except for the narrow retention exceptions listed in the Privacy Policy.
- We do not sell your content, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models.
- You are responsible for the content you share and must have the right to share it — including photos and details of other people.
4. Family members and managed profiles
- When you add a family member or create a managed (linked) profile for a relative who does not use the app — including a minor, an elderly relative, a deceased relative or a pet — you confirm that you have the authority (including parental or other legal authority, where relevant) to share that person's name, photo and details within your family space.
- Managed profiles are controlled by the account holder(s) who maintain them, and can be edited or deleted by them at any time — unless the profile is handed over, as described below.
- Handing a profile over. If you created a managed profile for a living relative, you may invite that person to take it over as their own account, by giving us an email address for them or by passing them a one-time link yourself. Only you, as its creator, can do this, and only for a profile of a living person — not for a pet or a deceased relative. By sending such an invitation you confirm that the email address is theirs and that they agreed to receive it; a link you pass on yourself goes only to that person. The invitation link is single-use and expires after 7 days, and you can cancel it at any time before it is claimed. Once the person claims the profile it becomes their own account: they control it, and you can no longer edit or delete it. This cannot be undone.
- Family relationships you declare are visible to your family members.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- harass, threaten or abuse anyone, or share content that is unlawful, hateful or pornographic;
- share other people's personal information without authority to do so;
- impersonate another person, or create profiles for people outside your family without their connection to your family;
- attempt to access other users' data, disrupt the Service, probe or overload our systems, or reverse-engineer the app except where the law permits;
- use the Service for commercial purposes, spam or advertising.
You can block users and report content or users from within the app (⋯ menu → Report / Block). We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
6. AI features
- The in-app assistant and related AI features generate content automatically. Their output may be inaccurate, incomplete or inappropriate despite our safeguards, and it is not medical, legal, financial or other professional advice.
- You are responsible for reviewing AI-suggested content before sharing it with your family.
- The data processing performed by AI features is described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Intellectual property and feedback
- The Service itself — the We app, its name, logo, design and code — remains the property of the Operator. Using the Service grants you no rights in it beyond the use these Terms allow.
- If you believe content in the Service infringes your copyright or other rights, email info@wefamilyapp.com with details of the content and of your rights; infringing content may be removed.
- Feedback and suggestions you send us may be used to improve the Service without restriction, obligation or compensation.
8. Links to other websites
Content shared by users may include links to external websites or services we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, terms or privacy practices, and a link does not imply our endorsement.
9. Termination and deletion
- You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time (Settings → Delete account). Deletion is immediate and irreversible — see the Privacy Policy for exactly what is deleted.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or the law, and may discontinue the Service with reasonable notice.
10. Disclaimers and liability
- The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or that content (including notifications and reminders) will always be delivered.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, loss of data, or damages arising from content shared by users or from reliance on AI-generated output. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
- To the extent liability is not excluded above, our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service is capped at 100 ILS, reflecting that the Service is provided free of charge.
- You will indemnify us against third-party claims, damages and reasonable expenses arising from content you shared without the right to do so or from your breach of these Terms.
- You should keep your own copies of irreplaceable photos and videos; the Service is not a backup service.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms; the date above reflects the latest version. For material changes we will notify you in the app. Continued use of the Service after a change means the updated Terms apply.
12. Governing law, disputes and general provisions
- If you have a concern or dispute, please contact us first at info@wefamilyapp.com — most issues can be resolved informally.
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the competent courts of Tel Aviv-Jaffa have exclusive jurisdiction, without limiting mandatory consumer protections available to you where you live.
- If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. Our not enforcing a provision at any time is not a waiver of it.
