Delete your We account

Deleting your account is immediate and permanent: your profile and profile photo, assistant conversations, stories, tasks, reminders and device registrations are removed from our systems and cannot be recovered. Messages you sent in chats and posts and comments you shared in the feed stay with the family members who took part, without your name, profile photo or phone number; you can delete them yourself before deleting your account. There is no waiting period and no way to undo after confirming.

Delete from within the app

1. Open the We app
2. Open Settings
3. Scroll to the bottom, tap Delete account and confirm

Can't access the app?

Send a deletion request from the email address you registered with to info@wefamilyapp.com with the subject "Delete my account", and we will take care of it.

Your account and all personal data associated with it are deleted from our systems. Exceptions: feedback you previously sent to the development team (including screenshots) is not removed automatically — email us to have it removed; and a technical record of the account's lifecycle (when it was opened, sign-ins, and when it was deleted), keyed to the user ID alone and holding no name, contact details or content, is kept so that our long-term user counts stay accurate.
